How these numbers work

FantasyCalc turns roughly a million real fantasy trades into rest-of-season redraft market values, then this calculator uses the settings that match our league: 12 teams, 1 QB and full PPR.

• Values are market values, not projections or rankings. They show how players are being traded, not a predicted fantasy-point finish.
• Fairness bands: within 5% is even, 5–12% is a slight edge, and more than 12% is a clear edge.
• D/ST and kickers are excluded. FantasyCalc does not value them, so they appear as “—” and add nothing to totals.
• Some rostered players also show “—”. They sit outside FantasyCalc's current 196-player pool and are excluded from totals.

Trade Finder adds up each team's starters' FantasyCalc market values by position and compares them with the league median to identify needs below the median and surpluses above it. If a starter is out injured, that position jumps to the top of the need list. It returns up to five proposals in three tiers: Mutual fit fills a need for both teams; Fills your need targets your biggest weakness from a partner's surplus; Closest match is fair value that doesn't cleanly fill both teams' needs. It builds only 1-for-1 and 2-for-2 proposals in the even or slight-edge bands—never more than 12% apart—and excludes unvalued players, D/ST and kickers.

How the values work: every player gets a composite rest-of-season value blended from three sources — FantasyCalc's trade market (about a million real trades; redraft, 1-QB, full PPR) at 40%, our own projection model at 35% (2026 weeks 1–3 pace extrapolated over the remaining games under our exact scoring: 1/25 passing yards, 4-point passing TDs, 1/10 rushing and receiving yards, 6-point rushing and receiving TDs, full PPR, −2 per interception, then valued by positional scarcity for a 1-QB / 2-RB / 3-WR / 1-TE / 1-FLEX lineup), and Fantasy Football Calculator draft ADP at 25%. That's why Josh Allen sits around 6,800, below the elite RBs and WRs: in 1-QB the market prices even the QB1 below every-down skill stars, and his edge is rushing.
